plymouth' trip

I went to Plymouth yesterday for a day trip. It took about 2 hours to reach Plymouth from Bristol by train. I took 1144 am train to Plymouth and went back at 1825pm. Until yesterday, I had mistakenly pronounce Plymouth and no one corrected me till yesterday i was in the train and gt the correct pronunciation, it should be pronounced as Plea-mouth rather than Plai-mouth. It is a beautiful city ( something like a mixture of portsmouth becos if its harbour en southampton becos of it shopping places) en it does have a beautiful beach with alot of yachts and boats. The people are ok as well, prob almost the same like bristol .I was on the train back to Bristol when i saw a bunch of youngster who acts that they are very cool and one of them indeed tried to get my attention as i was sitting near to train window while he was nt in the train.ths days youngsters, so pathetic!!!
I bought 2 mugs fr plymouth market ( 2 for 3 pounds).

It has been a week since I came back from easter' trip with my family and their friends. Overall it was a nice trip but it is too short ( they just came here for 5 days!!) and luckily we had a nice tour guide who knew how to make jokes and to make the tour more lively. I was in London for three days, meeting up with Tim and Jamie but I did not have enough time, to meet up with Azlan and Hou Tseng. Probably, gonna meet up with them after their examinations end. We went to Buckingham palace and places nearby ie typical London trip, there was along queue to enter into Madame Tussuad but we did manage to get it as we had reservation but inside it, there were so many people so it was quite hard for us to take photo with our celebrities. I was waiting for my family to come out from the hall for nearly one hour and my parents lost their bag in Heathrow airport ( they sent it back for us when we were in Bristol in day three). We were having lunch in a pub( cant remember its name) where they do serve english traditional food (roast chicken) with tasted very nice and the area surrounding that place is amazing.

Before heading to Bristol from London, we made a couple of stop in Stonehenge and Bath. There is nothing much to see in Stonehenge except for the stones ( we were in rush as well). We did have a nice time in Bath and it is my 5/6 times to be inside Roman Bath. For lunch, we had roasted chicken as well but because my family and their friends do not really like to eat english food, most of the foods were wasted, they ate pop mee :) ( something like instant noddle). The tour guide for Stonehenge is an english man but he is able to speak bahasa Indonesia.

From Bristol, we went to Birmingham which is a big city and we gt LV bags from there ( five handbags, hehehe). We could not find the hotel as it is located in the middle of high street. Service in this hotel was not good as they were quite rude when they served breakfast. There is nothing much to see in Birmingham except that they do have Cadbury museum and a bishop cottage. They do have diversity of culture such as blacks, indians etc. it is a smaller version of London. I think Birmingham is a nice city.

From Birmingham, we headed to Manchester and we stayed in Golden Tulip which is a hotel exactly next to Manchester football stadium. Because it is easter day thus the city looked like a dead city and i think it is also because we stayed in Old Trafford. After dinner, my uncle and I went to one of the casinos in China town called Grosvenor Casino where we played Roulette. They do have a branch in Anchor Rd, Bristol. The next day, it was the time for them to go back to Singapore where they did stay for a day before heading back to Medan.

Above are some of the pics: - enjoyed :)
